PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To image a plurality of objects having different sizes, and always keep quality of projection images at a predetermined level or more when projecting the objects on a screen. PSOLUTION: In an overhead camera 1 which images an optional object by a CCD 13, and outputs the image to a projector 51 through a cable 3, a CPU 11 of the overhead camera 1 functions as an acquisition means to acquire the size of the object in a field angle, a resolution setting means to set resolution of the photographic image to a predetermined resolution according to the size of the acquired object in the field angle, and an imaging means to acquire the photographic image of the set resolution using the CCD 13.
