PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To implement charge-discharge tests of high accuracy, the current value detected is allowed to approach to a constant current set value efficiently in a controller 31 for charge-discharge test controlling a DC power source apparatus 13 and an electronic load apparatus 14 for implementing charge-discharge test for an object to be tested. PSOLUTION: In the controller for charge-discharge test which is equipped with a current detector 38 inserted in a route charging current from a DC power source apparatus 13 to a tested object 12 and discharge current from the tested object 12 to an electronic load apparatus 14 flow in common and a controlling section 36 for outputting manipulated variables to output control signal so as to consist the current value detected by the current detector 38, with a constant-current set value established externally; when a pattern where the constant current set value is forced to change at a plurality of stages is repeated periodically to implement periodical charge-discharge, control signal immediately prior to each stage of the former period is terminated is stored and at an onset time of each stage of the next period, the stored control signal is used to compute the manipulated variables at each stage.
