PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new method for preparation of a zeolite with MTW-type structure advantageously used as a catalyst, adsorbent or separating agent. PSOLUTION: This method for preparation of the zeolite with MTW-type structure includes at least (i) a process for mixing at least one supply source of at least one tetravalent element with at least one nitrogen-containing organic species having the formula expressed herein; and (ii) a process for hydrothermally treating the above mixture until the zeolite with MTW-type structure is formed.
