The present invention relates to a method for predicting the Time to Progression (TTP) of non small cell lung carcinoma (NSCLC) patients treated with chemotherapy, based on the detecting the levels of expression of thioredoxin (TRX) in a biological sample of the patient, or based on simultaneously detecting the expression levels of thioredoxin and the methylation status of the 14-3-3Ã gene.
