PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily and highly accurately measure calorie consumption according to an individual difference. PSOLUTION: This calorie consumption measuring instrument 10 for measuring a calorie consumption of activity by the calculated heart rate of a subject is provided with a preprocessing section 40, a heart rate reception section 35 and a calorie consumption calculation section 50. The preprocessing section has a first personal data creation section which sets individual states of the subject including the age, the gender, the height and the weight and creates first personal data based on set individual states, and a second personal data creation section which sets environment states of the subject and creates second personal data according to the set environment states. The heart rate reception section receives the detected heart rate. The calorie consumption calculation section calculates the calorie consumption based on the received heart rate and the first and second personal data created by the preprocessing section.
