PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a foldable dipole antenna which can lower an impedance without using an impedance transforming circuit, and can materialize a wide band characteristic, with a simple structure.;SOLUTION: The foldable dipole antenna 1 is provided with an antenna part 11 which has: a linear dipole antenna conductor 111 in which an opening gap part 114 is provided at its center and its length Da is equal to 250 mm; a folding conductor 112 provided parallel to the dipole antenna conductor 111; and a connection conductor 113 for connecting both ends of the folding conductor 112 to both ends of the dipole antenna conductor 111, respectively. Feeder lines 12 put in pairs parallel to each other along a direction perpendicular to the dipole antenna conductor 111 are provided on the side of the opening gap part 114 of the dipole antenna conductor 111. Assuming that λ is a resonant wavelength of the antenna part 11, the length of this feeder line 12 is set in a range of 0.226-0.248 λ.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
