PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for accurately evaluating the deformation coefficient of a rock bed at a low cost.;SOLUTION: The deformation coefficient D of the rock bed is evaluated using an evaluation formula having the number N of the cracks per the unit length of a boring core by the uniaxial compression strength σCin the substantial part of the boring core as parameters. Since boring is generally performed in survey of a rock bed structure, the deformation coefficient D is evaluated at a low cost without requiring an original position test by effectively putting the data obtained by this boring to practical use. Further, by guiding the evaluation formula from the displacement quantity δ of the rock bed in building of an actual structure, the accurate deformation coefficient D corresponding to the stress state in building of the actual structure is obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
