PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To easily view video which is missed owing to switching of a channel.;SOLUTION: A video distribution control server is connected to a video storage device in which video of a plurality of channels received from transmission sources is stored. Further, the video distribution control server includes a distributed video selection section which distributes video of a channel selected by a reception terminal out of a plurality of channels received from the transmission sources or video stored in the video storage device at a request for redistribution from the reception terminal, and a missed candidate reporting section which extracts program video in a period wherein the video is not distributed to the reception terminal owing to a channel switching operation at the reception terminal on the basis of a history of selection of channels of the reception terminal, and reports it as a missed candidate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
