PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an ionic liquid containing organic and inorganic different two kinds of polymerizable functional groups so as to produce an organic-inorganic hybrid high molecular ionic compound without using a compound containing a polymerizable functional group other than the ionic liquid.;SOLUTION: The ionic liquid containing a vinyl group as an organic polymerizable functional group and an alkoxysilyl group as an inorganic polymerizable functional group is synthesized by a reaction between 1-vinylimidazole and a halogenated alkyltrialkoxysilane and an anion exchange reaction. The resultant ionic liquid containing a vinyl group and an alkoxysilyl group in the same molecule subjects the alkoxysilyl group to hydrolysis-condensation so as to produce an organic-inorganic hybrid polymer ionic compound. After the hydrolysis-condensation of the alkoxysilyl group, the vinyl group is radically polymerized to give an organic-inorganic hybrid high molecular ionic compound having higher strength.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
