PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an additive for increasing the amount of production of a useful material.;SOLUTION: This material is an additive for a cell culturing medium for producing the useful material, and consists of a compound lipid and a surfactant containing a cyclic structure. As the compound lipid, a phospholipid is preferable, and as the surfactant containing the cyclic structure, at least one kind of the surfactant selected from a group consisting of an ethylene oxide adduct of an alkylphenol, an ethylene oxide adduct of a sorbitan fatty acid ester, an ethylene oxide adduct of sorbide fatty acid ester, a fatty acid ester of sugar or sucrose and bile acid salts is preferable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2003,JPO
