PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a digital composite machine that includes a specific device for determining whether to cope with a packet received during a power saving mode by only a network unit. PSOLUTION: The digital composite machine 1 holds a determination table 60. The determination table registers therein the correspondence between a combination of a packet protocol type, IP class, Port number and instruction command and designation information of whether to perform an automatic response. When a packet is received during power-saving mode, a network controller 14 refers to the determination table 60 and determines whether to perform automatic response.
