PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of transmission under fault occurrence in MIMO (MUltiple Input MUltiple Output) communication and a radio base station device performing MIMO communication which avoid communication abnormality by speedily limiting transmission to an antenna corresponding to a portion where a fault occurs, by means of a radio equipment control section when any fault occurs in radio equipment.;SOLUTION: A maintenance monitoring section 106 inside each of radio equipment 103 detects a fault in the radio equipment and outputs antenna fault information corresponding thereto to a CPRI (Common Public Radio Interface) link 1713. A maintenance monitoring section 104 inside a radio equipment control device 102 collects antenna fault information from each CPRI link and outputs equipment fault information obtained by aggregating the collected information. A baseband signal processing section 105 inside the radio equipment control device discriminates a faulty antenna on the basis of the device fault information when processing a baseband signal and performs control so as not to generate a transmission codeword corresponding to the faulty antenna.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
