PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide stable receiving characteristics by keeping a light-intensity modulation index at light transmission approximately constant in a device transmitting a light signal by FM modulation.;SOLUTION: An optical power is fluctuated with a change in the optical frequency of the light signal output from an FM laser 2 when a bias current for the FM laser 2 is changed. However, the optical power input to a photosynthesizer is stabilized even when the bias current for the FM laser 2 is changed by arranging an optical filter having characteristics offsetting the fluctuation of the optical power at the subsequent stage of the FM laser 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
