PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable rational flow velocity determination, when evaluating an analyte by means of fluorescence emission.;SOLUTION: The analyte or a material other than the analyte which is a material, capable of changing intensity of fluorescence emission from a fluorescence-labeled substance by being coupled with the fluorescence-labeled substance, is allowed to flow during light reception onto the fluorescence-labeled substance capable of changing intensity of fluorescence emission, by being coupled with the analyte during light reception, to be brought into contact with the fluorescence-labeled substance, and flow velocity to be used for evaluating the analyte is determined from the relation between a time constant and the flow velocity, determined by standardizing a gradient of the rises time or the fall time change of the fluorescence intensity from the fluorescence labeled substance.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
