摘要

PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a position detecting method and a position detector of the rotor in a permanent magnet motor capable of detecting the position of the rotor without using a sensor and without complicating the detector. PSOLUTION: In the position detecting method of the rotor in a permanent magnet motor PM, a voltage is applied to one phase of the three-phase winding of the stator S, and position of the rotor R is detected based on the comparison results of the maximum value of voltage waveforms generated in other two phases, and the comparison results of the positive/negative inclination of the voltage waveforms.
