PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a base for aquatic plant planting, facilitating planting of aquatic plants which can promote greening in a river, a lake or the like, and excellent in water quality purification and environment, and to provide an aquatic plant base for underwater fixation, useful for greening and water quality purification, environmentally excellent and easy to construct.;SOLUTION: This base for aquatic plant planting of a mat-like shape contains a wood crushed product, an iron-containing ceramics porous body, and an adhesive. The content ratio of the iron-containing ceramics porous body is a ratio to be a specific gravity allowing the base to sink in water. The aquatic plant base for underwater fixation is obtained by planting aquatic plants or their seedlings on the base for aquatic plant planting, and is usable by placing on the bottom of a river and a lake.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
