METHOD FOR KILLING ANOPHELES OR TSETSE FLY AND APPARATUS THEREFOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for killing anopheles or tsetse fly which mediates a pathogen by using electromagnetic wave and an apparatus therefor.;SOLUTION: Electromagnetic wave having enhanced output and amplified by oscillating electromagnetic wave having output within a range not giving influence on human bodies in a region of about 2 GHz to about 10 GHz by using magnetron, surface-wave vibration, pulse wave, solid vibration (hereinafter referred to as crystal oscillator) which is an oscillation source is irradiated in the air or onto the surface of body skin of the cattle and horses. Thereby, mosquitos or tsetse flies (hereinafter referred to anopheles or tsetse fly) which fly in the air are oscillated with electromagnetic wave and anopheles or tsetse flies are heated and a protein constituting anopheles or tsetse fly is heated to ≥60°C, preferably to ≥65°C. A protein constituting anopheles or tsetse fly is denatured by heating. As a result, anopheles or tsetse fly which mediates malarial parasite or trypanosoma protozoa is killed by heating in the air. The method aims at killing Malaria which is world's biggest infection, by which 300-700 million people have been infected in one year and ≥2 million people have died in one year and sleeping sickness by which 400 thousand people have been infected in one year and 60 thousand people have died.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
