PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a hydraulic drive system of sluice gate and the sluice gate which can easily detect pressure drop abnormality due to piping damage or the like of a hydraulic fluid feeding side during closing operation of a door body.;SOLUTION: The system comprises: a hydraulic motor 9 rotatable in two directions for opening/closing a door body 3 of a sluice gate 1; a variable capacity type piston pump 12 which can freely discharge the hydraulic fluid in the two directions and control the discharge rate; a closed hydraulic pressure circuit 13 connecting the hydraulic motor 9 and the variable capacity type piston pump 12; an electric motor 15 driving a driven shaft 14 of the variable capacity type piston pump 12 at constant rotation; a controller 16 controlling a discharging direction and the discharge rate of the variable displacement type piston pump 12; a charge pressure auxiliary pump 20 for applying a predetermined charge pressure to the hydraulic pressure circuit 13; and a pressure switch 21 detecting the pressure drop abnormality with the predetermined pressure of the hydraulic pressure circuit 13 as a criterion.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
