PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a removable medium video recording device with reduced power consumption and reduced fan noise.;SOLUTION: The removable medium video recording device includes: a removable medium drive (3) on which a removable medium is mounted and which records information on the removable medium; a video recording circuit (2) controlling the recording of information in the removable medium drive; the fan (4) cooling the removable medium drive and a removable medium control part; and a main control part (1) controlling each of the parts.
