PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a nitric acid reduction catalyst composition which is applicable even to a high-concentration nitric acid solution and is capable of efficiently reducing a nitrate ion, nitrite ion and the like, and to provide a processing method of a nitric acid solution using the same.;SOLUTION: The nitric acid reduction catalyst composition contains platinum, copper and tin.
