PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate the time required for passing through a traffic signal which has become a stop factor with high precision.;SOLUTION: The driving support apparatus 100 installed in a vehicle to support the driving of the vehicle includes a cycle acquisition section 101, a distance acquisition section 102, a required time calculation section 103, and a notification section 104. The cycle acquisition section 101 acquires cycle information on the cycle at which the signal of the traffic signal which has become a stop factor switches. The distance acquisition section 102 acquires distance information indicating the distance to the traffic signal. The required time calculation section 103 calculates the time required for the vehicle to pass through the traffic signal on the basis of the cycle information and the distance information.
