PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To exert a vibration control function by connecting a small-sized scaling frame, reduced at a constant rate, to a large-sized frame of a structure via a diagonal member.;SOLUTION: This vibration control-type double frame structure includes the large-sized frame which is formed of two structural members in each direction, crossing each other as in the case of the column and beam of the structure, and the small-sized scaling frame which is formed by similarly reducing the large-sized frame at the constant rate. In the structure, corners of both the frames are connected together by the diagonal member in a diagonal direction, so that the scaling frame can be formed in such a shape as to be plastically deformed in a corner-changeable manner depending on the large-sized frame. The scaling frame serves as a rigid frame 12 separate from the diagonal member 6; each corner between shaft rod portions 16 of the rigid frame serves as a rigid corner 14 which resists the corner changing motion of the rigid frame 12; a joint 18 to be joined to the diagonal member is protruded outward from the outside of the rigid corner; and the rate of the reduction of the rigid frame 12 with respect to the large-sized frame 3 is set to be in the range of 0.02-0.3.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
