TRAINING INSTALLATION OF STEAM-TURBINE SPEED GOVERNOR

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a training installation of a steam-turbine speed governor that generates a simulated failure simulating a failure in a speed governor actually provided at a power plant, and that helps an operator at the power plant improve his/her failure recovery technique by having the operator handle the simulated failure to cause him/her to learn how to identify a failure cause of the speed governor.;SOLUTION: The training installation 1 of the steam-turbine speed governor includes: a simulated steam valve 64; simulated differential transformers 61 and 65 that have the same structure as that of a differential transformer for detecting a variation in opening of a steam valve and that detect a variation in opening of the simulated steam valve; simulated control motors 63 and 68 that simulate a control motor for driving the steam valve; and a simulated load limiter 67 that includes a function of a load limiter for limiting output from a generator operating together with the steam turbine within a predetermined allowance, and further includes a simulated-failure generating unit 10 that generates a simulated failure in at least one of the simulated differential transformers, the simulated control motors, and the simulated load limiter.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
