PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect fraudulent request signals disguised as request signals transmitted and received between a presence client and a presence server in the provision of presence information.;SOLUTION: The presence client cyclically generates location information comprising an optional character string, cyclically transmits REGISTER request signals, wherein the location information is set to a Contact header part, to the presence server, and transmits SUBSCRIBE request signals, wherein the finally generated location information is set to the Contact header part, to the presence server.
