PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a granular agrochemical composition which can be applied to the insides of seeding holes at the same time with seeding a horticultural plant in a field without producing any injurious effect on the plant when it is in the stage of germination or in the stage of young seedling, can be applied in a labor-saving manner, and is capable of easily controlling the amount of the active ingredient of the agrochemical applied.;SOLUTION: The granular agrochemical composition is composed of a plurality of round granules obtained by shaping a mixture prepared by formulating one or more active ingredient of an agrochemical, an excipient which acts also as a carrier for carrying the active ingredients, a binder, and optionally at least another adjuvant, and is characterized in that the weights of the respective granules constituting the granular composition are uniform or nearly uniform, the amounts of the active ingredients contained therein are uniform or nearly uniform, the widths of the respective granules are in the range of 2 to 10 mm and are uniform or nearly uniform, and the lengths of the respective granules are in the range of 2 to 10 mm and are uniform or nearly uniform.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
