PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To develop a paint and a seal excellent in their designs in applying convexoconcave forms on their surfaces by mixing a butyral resin having a predetermined range of butyralized rate with a specific plasticizer. PSOLUTION: The paint and the seal expressing convexoconcave form on their surfaces are prepared by mixing (1) a main component of a polyvinyl butyral having 50-85 mol% butyralized rate, (2) the molecular weight of the polyvinyl butyral in a range of average polymerization degree of 200-2,500, (3) mixing the plasticizer having an ester bond at 25-100 pts.wt. based on 100 pts.wt. of the polyvinyl butyral and (4) adding a solvent to make the total weight of the polyvinyl butyral added with the plasticizer in the range of 5-20 wt.%.
