PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic caisson having a floating preventive device constructible in an upper part of a workroom slab, that is, under atmospheric pressure, for surely preventing floating of the pneumatic caisson immersed in the predetermined depth over the future by the function of the floating preventive device itself.;SOLUTION: This pneumatic caisson is immersed and completed in the predetermined depth, with a workroom 5 surrounded by at least a cutting edge 3 and the workroom slab 4 provided with a slab anchor hole 29 insertably sealed with an anchor material. The anchor material 38 extending in the downward direction is inserted into a plurality of anchor holes 37 mutually drilled at a required interval in the horizontal direction in the ground G, to bottom filled concrete 33 from the slab anchor hole 29 arranged in the workroom slab 4. A lower part of the respective anchor materials 38 is anchored in the ground G, and predetermined tensional force is introduced to the respective anchor materials 38. A head part of the respective anchor materials 38 is fixed to the workroom slab 4, and the respective anchor materials 38 are arranged as permanent anchors.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
