PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a glass plate with a functional thin film, wherein an efficient drying process is realized.;SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the glass plate with a functional thin film includes a coating process for forming a liquid film on the surface of a glass plate by coating the surface of the glass plate with a liquid functional coating agent and a heating process for firing the liquid film by heating the glass plate having the liquid film formed thereon. Further, the method has a drying process for drying the coated liquid functional coating agent between the coating process and the heating process.
