RESERVATION RE-DESIGNING METHOD, RESOURCE MANAGEMENT APPARATUS, AND RESERVATION RE-DESIGNING PROGRAM

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To detect a failure or a change of a facility in a network, to search a reservation communication path which is disabled, and to change the communication path to an alternative path.;SOLUTION: Based on a parameter from a changed facility (a communications apparatus) in a management target network, a resource management table stored in a database is confirmed. When there is a change, a reservation management table in the database is referred to determine whether or not the change affects a path which has been already reserved, and if the change affects the path, the reservation path is recalculated. In addition, until processes from confirming changes to redesigning a communication path are completed, reservation negotiation with the other communication apparatus is suspended to give preference to a re-reservation process over a normal reservation process.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
