Prediction system of ground motion using the real-time earthquake information

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for predicting seismic motion permitting prediction of the level of shaking at presupposed positions before arrival of the main motion of the seismic motion utilizing real-time seismic information.;SOLUTION: The system is provided with: a scenario seismic database storing presupposed seismic motion data including seismic conditions including combinations of a plurality of presupposed seismic-center positions and the magnitudes and the maximum response values at the presupposed positions calculated using the same; a receiving means for receiving real-time seismic information including the seismic-center position and the magnitude detected at the occurrence of an earthquake; a comparison extraction means for comparing the real-time seismic information received by the receiving means and the seismic condition corresponding to the real-time seismic information in the scenario seismic database to extract presupposed seismic motion data using the most approximate seismic condition; and an output means outputting the presupposed seismic motion data extracted by the comparison extraction means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
