PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a highly refined polyether-modified polysiloxane composition not substantially developing odorization with time in a mixed system of water with a (polyhydric) alcohol.;SOLUTION: The polyether-modified polysiloxane composition comprises an organopolysiloxane-polyoxyalkylene copolymer obtained by hydrosilylation reaction of an organohydrogenpolysiloxane with a polyoxyalkylene having carbon-carbon double bonds at terminals. In the polysiloxane composition, (1) a total unsaturated degree measured according to JIS K-1557 is ≤0.00010 meq/g and (2) a carbonyl total amount expressed in terms of propanal measured by a specific method is ≤100 ppm and (3) an index of ionic impurity total amount obtained by a specific method is preferably ≤30 μS/m.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
