PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate monitoring of update of a Web site without using a PC or the like.;SOLUTION: An update monitoring system creates, for each Web page, a monitoring URI (Uniform Resource Identifier) for accessing monitoring information for monitoring update information in a Web page, regularly acquires the monitoring information as a resource of the monitoring URI, and notifies a user with update in the monitoring information if any. A monitoring URI is created for accessing the monitoring information for monitoring update information in individual Web page corresponding to a client, independently for each individual Web page.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
