PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for producing red pepper seasoning which uses spiciness and flavor of red pepper, and is preservable for a long period and usable for various dishes; to provide a method for producing a baked rice ball using the red pepper seasoning; and to provide a rice ball using the red pepper seasoning.;SOLUTION: This method for producing the red pepper seasoning includes: frying dried red pepper for 15 min -25 min in edible oil of a weight equivalent to 30%-40% of the weight of the red pepper, crushing the product, and adding salt of a weight equivalent to 60%-80% of the weight of the red pepper to the product followed by mixing. The method for producing the baked rice ball includes making a rice ball through mixing the red pepper seasoning with boiled rice of a weight equivalent to 40 times-70 times the weight of the red pepper seasoning, and applying scorch to the rice ball.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2009,JPO&INPIT
