PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a ground-treating composition for an inorganic base material, usable for sealer coating of the surface of the inorganic base material, and to provide a method for treating the ground of the inorganic base material by using the composition.;SOLUTION: The ground-treating composition for the inorganic base material contains (A) a polymer or a copolymer having a component unit derived from a (meth)acrylic acid and/or an ester thereof, and (B) an isocyanate compound.
