Sealed sample pan for auto-sampler of thermogravimetric analyzer

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the reproduction of the size of an opening formed when a cover is unsealed without contaminating a sample at the unsealing of the cover sealing a sealed sample pan.;SOLUTION: The sealed sample pan of an automatic sampler is unsealed before TGA test. The sealed sample pan has the cover and a bail. An inside part is formed in one part of the cover of the sealed sample pan, and the inside part is thinner than the other part of the cover. It is thereby possible to separate the inside part from the other part of the cover by exerting concentrated load onto the inside of the inside part by a hole boring member integrated with the automatic sampler and thereby unseal the cover. The hole boring member does not come into contact with the sample at this time. In addition, the size of the opening is easily reproduced.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
