PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an Agrobacterium microbe with improved efficiency for transducing a gene to a plant, and to provide a method for creating the microbe.;SOLUTION: The Agrobacterium microbe with the improved efficiency for transducing the gene to the plant is obtained by imparting an ability for inhibiting the production of ethylene by the plant to which the foreign gene will be transduced by the Agrobacterium microbe, to the Agrobacterium microbe. The method for creating the microbe is also provided. Concretely, by this invention, the efficiency for transducing the gene to the plant is improved by introducing an ACC (a precursor of ethylene) deaminase gene or a rhizobitoxin-synthesizing gene. It is considered that a recombinant plant of a kind of plants to which the gene transduction is not carried out conventionally can be created by using the method using the Agrobacterium microbe of this invention.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
