PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a diagnostic method for diagnosing chorioamnionitis more accurately compared to a conventional diagnosis based on the determination of CRP which is an inflammation marker in a serum of a mother body.;SOLUTION: The method for the diagnosis of chorioamnionitis, comprising measuring an amphiregulin level in an amniotic fluid and determining that there is a high possibility of chorioamnionitis when the amphiregulin level is high. In the method, an IL-8 level and/or an IL-6 level and/or a glucose level in an amniotic fluid may also be measured in addition to an amphiregulin level in an amniotic fluid to further improve the precision of the diagnosis of chorioamnionitis.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
