PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for processing printing orders in server-based networks, and a corresponding network.;SOLUTION: A printing order in EMF format which is generated by an application on a network server is provided with an identifier which enables the printing order to appear in RAW format, the printing order in the supposed RAW format is transmitted to a network terminal where the identifier is removed, and the EMF data set is converted into the RAW format specific to a printer by means of a local printer driver.
