PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problem in a DC-DC converter equipped with a transformer for its output that an unintended DC voltage component applied to the transformer generates uneven magnetization and a magnetic saturation in a worse case.;SOLUTION: The DC-DC converter is formed by connecting the input of the transformer 6 to each output of inverters 2, 3, 4, 5, the input of a rectifying circuit including a plurality of diodes 7, 8, 9, 10 to the output of the transformer, and a DC circuit including a reactor 11 and a load 12 to the output of the rectifying circuit. The DC-DC converter includes a free wheeling diode 101 connected to the output of the rectifying circuit in parallel; conduction detecting devices 102, 103 for detecting conduction of at least two of the diodes 7, 8, 9, 10 of the rectifying circuit; and a time comparison device for comparing conduction time 104 of the diodes 8, 10, being configured to make only an exciting current flow in the diodes 7, 8, 9, 10 of the rectifying circuit during a free wheeling period.
