PPROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate an operation concerning an input device, an operation acceptance method and an operation acceptance program. PSOLUTION: An MFP (Multiple Function Peripherals) includes a touch panel having an acceptance face and for detecting a position pointed by a user on the acceptance face; an operation object discrimination part 53 for discriminating the type of an operation object based on the number of positions to be simultaneously detected on the acceptance face by the touch panel; an operation system determination part 55 for determining any one of predetermined plurality of operation systems based on the type of the discriminated operation object; and an operation acceptance part 61 for accepting an operation following the determined operation system from among the plurality of operation systems based on the position detected by the touch panel.
