PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To calculate an extra-route middle-dropout adjustment fare by a fare calculation device of an automatic ticket examination machine or the like wherein validity is already verified about calculation of an inter-station fare.;SOLUTION: The automatic ticket examination machine 1 calculating the adjustment fare when going through a non-latch route to an exit line portion from an entrance line portion of commuter ticket data by use of an IC chip storing the commuter ticket data through tow-latch junctions has: an inter-station fare calculation part 101 wherein the validity is already verified about the calculation of the inter-station fare; an adjustment candidate station extraction part 102 extracting an exit line portion adjustment candidate station and an entrance line portion adjustment candidate station of the commuter ticket data; and an arithmetic control part 103 making the inter-station fare calculation part 101 repeatedly execute the calculation of the inter-station fare about all combinations between the exit line portion adjustment candidate stations and the entrance line portion adjustment candidate stations extracted by the adjustment candidate station extraction part 102, obtaining a non-latch route lowest-price shortest-distance fare, and setting it as the extra-route middle-dropout adjustment fare.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT
