PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building fitting which can form a suitable joint portion between a wooden end joist and a floor joist formed of a thin lightweight steel plate, without reassembling component parts thereof, even if the end joist does not dimensionally conform to the floor joist so that upper surfaces of the respective joists fail to be flush with each other; and to provide a floor structure which can set a length of the floor joist to a single value if an interval between walls opposed to each other is the same, by using the building fitting.;SOLUTION: The floor structure is constructed by mounting both ends of the floor joist having a length smaller than the inner dimension of the walls opposed to each other, on the end joists opposed to each other via the building fitting 3. The building fitting is formed of a pair of side wall portions 31, 32 for pinching the floor joist therebetween, across an interval that is an integer multiple of the floor joist, a connection portion 34 connecting between the side wall portions, and mounting portions 33 for mounting edges of the respective side wall portions on the end joist. An inner side of each side wall portion has the same height as that of the floor joist, and each side wall portion has a notch on a side facing the end joist and closer to a wall upper frame. Further the notch has a length that is equal to or more than a value obtained by subtracting a thickness of the end joist from a width of the wall upper frame, and a height of the notch is equal to or more than a sum of an upper limit value and a lower limit value of a dimensional tolerance of the end joist. Still further the side wall portions are connected to each other via their bottom surfaces from which a notch is cut away, by the connection portion.
