PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an insulation fastener for a rail joint of a steel crosstie for fixing a metal joint plate at a rail joint to a steel crosstie with a wire spring clip and insulating the rail from the steel crosstie.;SOLUTION: The insulation fastener 10 for the rail joint of the steel crosstie comprises a first insulation member 14 for insulating the rails 12, 13 on the steel crosstie 11 from the steel crosstie 11, metal joint plates 17, 18 for fastening and fixing the joint part 15 by sandwiching the joint part 15 from both sides, second insulation members 20 which are locked to the metal joint plates 17, 18 at its front end part and is arranged on the steel crosstie 11 directly or by the intermediary of the first insulation member 14, holding metal pieces 21 for fixing the positions of the rails 12, 13 by fitting into recess parts 19 of the second insulation members 20, fixed seating bases 22 arranged on both sides of the rails 12, 13 leaving a space for housing the second insulation members 20, and wire spring clips 23 one end of each of which is fitted to each of the fixed seating bases 22 and the other end of each of which is in contact with an upper surface of each of the holding metal pieces 21 for pressing it downward.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2006,JPO&NCIPI
