PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a press vulcanizing apparatus for a V-belt capable of solving such a problem that the temperature of the belt is set so as to form stepwise temperature distribution over the peripheral length of the belt, the belt is cooled under a constant condition, the cooling of a high temperature part is especially deficient, a belt manufacturing cycle is long to obstruct productivity, and the maintenance of work environment or a peripheral machine is also obstructed by the scattering of cooling waterdrops; and to provide a vulcanizing method using the same.;SOLUTION: The surface temperature of the belt extended over a pair of V-pulley wheels 5 to run while cooled is detected to realize the control of speed for adjusting the running speed of the belt passed through a cooling booth means 15 to a preliminarily calculated speed corresponding to the temperature difference thereof.
