PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a metallic corrosion acceleration test method having high correlation to actual exposure to the outside air, out of doors.;SOLUTION: In the metallic corrosion acceleration test method, a combination of the following processes (a) and (b) is repeatedly applied to a metallic member: a process (a) of atomizing water solution (pH=4), containing 0.5 wt.% NaCl and 0.1 wt.% CaCl₂ for 16 hours in the atmosphere of 30-60°C in the air and a process (b) of leaving the member for 8 hours, in an atmosphere of 30-60°C in the air.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
