PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a camera equipped with a high-performance zoom lens which is composed of a first positive group, a second positive group and a third negative group, has a high variable power ratio of 3.5 or higher, and has a short overall length and a small number of lenses.;SOLUTION: The zoom lens is composed of the first positive group, the second positive group and the third negative group, and the second group is composed of a front group and a rear group, and the following conditions (1), (2), (3), and (4) are satisfied.
