PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method of evaluating the cultured cells that can partially evaluate the monolayer culture step of an adhesion dependence cell and additionally can readily attain the clear apprehension of the whole culture process, a method of predicting the culture cell proliferation and a method of suitably controlling the culture cell proliferation. SOLUTION: In this cultured cell evaluation method, the monolayer culture step of an adhesion dependence cell in a culture vessel is classified into the four stages of the cell adhesion phase 11, the lag phase 12, the logarithmic phase 13 and the stationary phase and the cell-intrinsic parameters are derived at these stages and the monolayer culture is evaluated quantitatively. In the prediction method for the cultured cell proliferation, the evaluation results in the cultured cell evaluation is utilized to forecast the proliferation of the cells. In the method of controlling the proliferation of the cultured cells, the results from the cell proliferation prediction are utilized to control the proliferation of the cell.
