PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing an optical low-pass filter consisting of a combination of a plurality of quartz plates by measuring the optical thickness of the optical low-pass filter.;SOLUTION: In the method for manufacturing the optical low-pass filter by which thicknesses of the plurality of quartz plates of the optical low-pass filter formed by combining the quartz plates are measured respectively and the quartz plates are combined, the low-pass filter comprising the plurality of quartz plates is formed through a stage of placing the quartz plates to measure the thicknesses, a stage of optical measuring the thicknesses of the respective quartz plates, and a stage of classifying the respective quartz plates to obtain a desired total thickness; and the wavelength of light radiated by a light source of a thickness measurement system for the quartz plates is 5,000 to 8,000Å.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2005,JPO&NCIPI
