PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable reverse-bend hemming processing and enlarge a processing range of a work while a reverse-bent work flange is put on a bottom die by actuating an upward/downward direction moving means of a bend beam and a forward/backward direction moving means of a manipulator at the same time. ;SOLUTION: Bend processing is applied with a bend beam 33 to a work W which is clamped by a top die 31 and a bottom die 32. An upward/downward direction moving means of the bend beam 33 and a forward/backward direction moving means of a manipulator 34 are actuated simultaneously, so that the tip end of the bent work is put on a downward bending blade 33B and is raised. When the downward bending blade 33B, on which the work tip end is put, reaches the upper position than the bottom die 32, only the upward/downward direction moving means of the bend beam 33 is stopped so that the work tip end is retreated and put on the bottom die 32. Hemming processing is applied to a work tip end by actuating the upward/downward direction moving means of a clamp beam 39 for lowering the top die 31.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2000,JPO
