PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reception beam forming method capable of forming a sharp beam with high sensitivity even in a reception wave of a short pulse. ;SOLUTION: One reception wave beam is formed using 60 elements within a range of 90° by a cylindrical reception array.
